Small family farm - they have to birth the cows (total vertigal integration) and raise through slaughter but also pay attention to who they use to process (processors are known for co-mingling meat from multiple sources). Still...its much more expensive to buy "grass-fed and finished" and I often think about all the bromine, aluminium, strontium etc on the grass...there isn't ANY pure meat so the EU/Russia/China can

f-off while they poison their own pops too.

I am so fortunate to have a resource an hour away that also processes, one animal at a time, and lb for lb MUCH cheaper than anything purchased in a store- people in cities don't have this luxury. Everything (EVERYTHING) in a grocery is poison. And this is the end of eating in ANY restaurant (they all use the same food distributors that source the cheapest crap available so the restaurant can upcharge you for that plate of ractopamine and glyphosate bread basket and the graphene pellegrino to wash it all down...

I used to love to cook - now the question, "what's for dinner?" haunts me daily. Might as well just sit down with a bag of chips and a cocktail at this point and wait for the famine to launch...

But the thing is.. can we trust China?

Scenario… China stops buying our beef and wheat. Farmers can’t afford to pay the taxes and insurances. Farmer loses land.. and China buys it up.
