Why are California's animal shelters killing so many pets? (LEFT OUT PET FOOD/CARE COST)

ONE TRIP TO THE VET FOR ROUTINE YEARLY CHECK-UP/SHOTS WAS OVER $800. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED IN EITHER. LAST YEAR HALF THAT.

Blame lingering pandemic-era restrictions that make it harder for people to find a dog or cat they'd like to adopt.

‘We Have Been Here Before’: Proposed Bill Would Require Manufacturers to Test Baby Foods for Heavy Metals

Don't do yearly checkups and no more vaccines...it's all a ruse and a grift...it was always a grift- and their injectables and food and meds are all contaminated now too. No hospitals, not vets...unless you have to spay a stray...stay away...

Tractor Supply has a vet on Sat. for 2 hours, they need their Rabies which is mandatory, and Parvo at least. I've been using children's Benadryl for allergy meds, The cost of it has gone up. Have the humidifier going. We have coyotes that can jump a 6 ft fence, Aramidillos, hawks, squirrels, and moles. The last 2 they chase and sometimes catch to eat. They just hit senior age. After that last visit, I said no more of them, we seniors can't afford it and food now.
