Old World Order: Directed by Sean Hibbeler. With Lord Jamar, B.J. Penn, Max Igan, Martin Liedtke. Our history has been fabricated. The official timeline of our recent past, does not match our reality. Our Rockefeller "his-story" books are pure fabrication. There has been a massive cover-up.
And as for History…here’s a backstory…
I think one of the best things I ever did was cut classes in college at Kent State. I was singing with rock and funk bands throughout my college days. Working six nights a week , and always rehearsing new songs for my amazing repertoire didn’t leave much time for classes, you needed most of the day just to sober up and do your gig that night.
I only went to college because I really wanted to adventure - to get out of my hometown of Canton Ohio, and I was getting some nice govt. money, since my deceased father had been a pilot in the Air Force.
If I was able to keep at least a C average they would continue to pay me monthly until I graduated, which turned out to be almost half of my tuition.
Piece of cake.
Working clubs with my awesome bands, and a bit of ‘dealing’ as a side hustle, filled in the other half of my needed income, and then some!
I would take breaks from the band to do some theater productions - I loved doing musicals and it was also a passion - but I always had enough money to buy the notes from the smart students in the class.
I’d go to a few classes right before exams and zero in on the star students and make them an offer that they couldn’t refuse…and cram for the exam (there’s a song in there) and pass the midterm and finals, without a hitch. And I had plenty of speed to get me through the process. Any “substance” I wanted or needed was at my fingertips.
I managed my “mini vacations” well, always calculated them so as to be highly functional, and I always did well on the tests, even if the professors had no idea who I was when they passed out the exams…LOL
They had nothing to say if I’m passing the tests. They can only fail you if you fail the tests…which was never going to happen. I knew I had to keep it together - I had nowhere else to go if I screwed up, so the Type-A overachiever was born.
I almost always had a band together…always the leader, of course, even in my teens in high school.
So, I was singing with my band at a huge very fancy strip club in Akron Ohio, while attending Kent State. It was one of the more lucrative venues and I played there on and off the whole time I was in Kent. On each side of the stage we had two strippers, who danced to our music. It was an amazing experience - the girlz were awesome and the place was always packed!
There were two other clubs on the Kent State U. strip and I played them as well. And I met Joe Walsh, who would play the club nextdoor, almost as often as I played there, meeting in the back alley for “elixirs.” We became good friends and sat in with each other’s bands. The James Gang was becoming famous, and he invited me to their big break, opening for The Who! I could write a book…many books, actually…
Anyway…
My repertoire was the best! Jefferson Airplane, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Stones, all the greats…I even did the song “I’m a Man.” I walked into my gig one night - I was late, and the band was a bit freaked out waiting for me to arrive…I was dressed as a man, mustache and all, and they didn’t recognize me…I walked up to the stage and said, “Where’s your singer?” They said she hasn’t gotten here yet…and I said, “Do you know the song “I’m a Man?” And they said “yeah, we just learned it. I don’t know why she wants to do it, but we just learned it and we do whatever song she wants.” I said, “Well I can sing it, let’s do it. I’ll do some songs until she gets here.” And they started the song, and they knew the minute I opened my mouth that it was me…!!! So fun!!!
Tranz before tranz was woke?
So, yes, only the best songs…perfectly played and executed, keeping it wild and unpredictable, and the club that I played was always just as packed as Joe’s gig nextdoor.
I always got requests to repeat White Rabbit. How ironic that I’m still chasing them.
I learned so much while I was there at Kent State, but rarely in the classroom.
So many amazing stories of my time at Kent State, and my insane life, in general, I could fill a few novels, but, bottom line is…I realize that I was so much better off to cut most of my classes - especially history classes…so much less to unlearn?
Enjoy this great vid…time to learn some REAL history…
Thanks so much for the down-memory-lane indulgence, my frenzz….
Canton, OH, huh? Dad was a USAF pilot, huh? I'm sure it's statistically only a low-level coincidence, but my Dad flew C-47s in the Pacific during WWII and was raised in Alliance, 20 miles away from Canton. Will check out the video. Stack by Me Stuff from Bodhisattvas Betty features an article about lots & lots of fires taking out chunks of US cities in the 1850-1900 range.
Wow, what an amazing college experience and life! White Rabbit was one of my fave songs because Grace Slick rocks! When I was at UT Austin I used to play it really loud and get lots of "turn it down." My friends were all into country rock and here I was playing Jefferson Airplane as loud as possible. Thanks for sharing! ❤️💕
