LOL. She is a beauty and the sweetest lovebubble ever. She was dumped in the alley by my boyfriends shop with a bladder infection - lots of blood in her urine, and that's only when she was ABLE to pee- it was so bad, no one would operate on her. We finally found a specialist with ballz, who made no guarantee on the outcome, it was that dodgy - he spent 2 and 1/2 hours in surgery with her, rebuilding her bladder. $2,800 later - and now special food - $90 for a 12 lb. bag- she is doing great! Quite the High Maintenance Queen...and she is worth it.

Def looks like a Turkish Van. Such a pretty kitty and looks like she knows it. 😻

I have mentioned here before that I care for a colony too but mine are feral barn cats. Not a chance of vet checks and meds etc. still costs an arm and leg to TNR and feed.

Bless you for caring for these kitties💞

AWWWW...bless you too - I know so well what it costs...just the TNR alone...

Do you have heaters or heating pads for them? A cardboard box with a heating pad inside is perfect, and they are cheap on Amazon - be sure to get the ones that don't turn off...I can send you a link if you like...?

And they are better off without vet checks these days...it's the vax grift...they are demanding them now for every visit. I don't think so!

Thanks for caring for them...you are awesome!

I have nowhere to plug them in. My colony is down to two spayed kitties, who live under my covered porch, a mama and daughter combo who sleep and shelter in a hay filled, hay bail surrounded, insulated cat house made from an end table and an above stove kitchen cabinet. The have a feeding station that's sheltered from the elements. Not sure where the others who come to dine come from, but I live rural so probably barns and outbuildings.

The mama and her mini me used to live in our barn with others but we had to demo it due to it falling down. These two are the only ones left from my original colony of over 40 at one point. TNR really works.

Those fluffy, luxurious cat caves scream Diva! 😂 They're awesome. I might get a couple for my indoor babies Billee and Purrl

Micki, who came with the house when I got here in 2018, is on my lap...so, yeah, the Kitty Porn got me. Venezuela a good cross-commute for expats? I've been thinking about India, but I might be able to get to Venezuela on frequent flier mileage. You thinkin 'bout takin' them fake maracas to Caracas? Moving into the paid scribe zone in a minute.

I have but one cat to support...sub paid monthly might not even keep your Colony in kibble, much less carne/pesce or meds...happy to pitch in...I have read that the KoFi system doesn't take as much of a skim as SS does (or the Buy Me a Coffee system)...make KoFi an option and I'll disengage from the SS paid sub...you might even pick up a few drive by $$$ drops from other scribes who want to pamper a kitty here and there but are too strapped to commit to SS's monthly dues. OX to your multi-species FAM

I didn't know Kofi was different...might do that. I have six kidz on special food - street cats have a propensity to get urinary infections...1 bag 12 lbs. is $90. and I've been forging scripts so I can avoid having to take them in - they insist on vaxing every year now...I don't fukking think so...Insane.

thanks again...do not donate any more...XO

Well, I did cancel the SS monthly deal, so if I find anything in the couch cushions...maybe a one-time drive-by drop.
