We sure did get a whole lot of rain in Yoakum, Texas yesterday. Little ponds all over our place, travel advisories, flash floods, low water crossings flooded...

I know...same here in HO...and it's not over. I still have PTFD (Post Traumatic Flood Disorder) from flooding with the weather weapon Hurricane freaking Harvey. But after all, we do live in a swamp...in a soul trap...on the prison planet...with ghoulz controlling and punishing us with everything they can think of...

uh oh...there she goes...thankfully, I'm "swamped" here and can't run my mouth incessantly...

"HO"?

"in a swamp...in a soul trap...on the prison planet...with ghoulz controlling"

This is the challenge to us, of course.

Lived there 1982-1986. UT Med. Houston. That was enough. Skipped town for Hurricane Alicia.

There is nowhere to run to...although I do think that the US is ground zero..., and they LOVE to punish TX. I'm stuck with special-needs rescues...or I'd be somewhere else...a mountaintop in Taos...please?

It's pretty dry in Taos. Victoria is a nice smaller city. Same hurricane problem, though.

Our homestead is in Yoakum. Texas coastal plains, far enough in to be protected from hurricanes, good "gumbo" soil. (11 miles from Shiner :-)
