He is so awesome!!! Tipped and shredded...he has scars everywhere - and a permanent puffy cheek from a terrible injury from a fight. One day he came in with part of his cheek hanging down and bleeding...he was drooling from his mouth and I was a mess...I gave him tons of holistic meds in his food, natural antibiotics and pain killers and he was always hungry so he ate everything, and amazingly he healed in two weeks. He was always beat up - I fed him every day - twice a day since about 2015...everyone in the neighborhood tried catching him and no one could. So he was on the prowl looking for a fight for many years. He disapperaed when we flooded in Hurricane Harvey and was missing for a week...finally showed up starving, but he survived. I had tried so many times to catch him - even bought a $200 drop cage and he was so fast that he escaped every time. Then one day he came in with a bum leg...could not walk on it...so I decided to try again with the drop cage, thinking his speed would be hindered and he might not escape in time...I loaded up the far corner with his favorite toy and catnip...he laid down...and bingo!!! I pulled the rope and he was caught! He's been in the garage for about a year or so now, and it is cushy and fabulous...it has a second story too, rugs, a fouton...cat trees...cat paradise - and he has a great window cage that looks out onto the back patio - and I fenced and mosquito netted the whole garage door - it's a 3 car garage - so the door is always open - and there's lots of action - they love it, they can look out and see the neighbors walking their dogs, etc., and they are still safe...our new girl Freya is in a large cage in the garage and they are good pals...sometimes sleep close together and touch each other through the cage, so, it works! They have fans and cooling pads in the summer and heaters and heating pads and igloos in the winter...I jump through hoops for these babes!
